Going forward from CEL P0171

Issue: New Blitz SUS to existing Perrin MAF hose to Perrin (stock sized) turbo inlet pipe and started throwing an intermittent P0171.
Background: Full catless exhaust, Cobb AP @ Stage II/93 octane (running pump Phillips/Chevron 101 octane fuel). Possible dirty MAF sensor (although issue just started after SUS install).
Current plan: Replacing existing fuel pump w/ Walbro Pump and Setup Kit to arrive today.

So here's my concern. Realizing that the knee-jerk reaction is to put the factory air box back in, is there any way to go forward w/ the SUS instead of back to the factory air box (without going with bigger injectors, etc. . .)?

Ok. I think that I've got this thing under control. Since he Blitz SUS filter has a "top" or "end" inlet for additional air flow, I did what any good American would do -- pulled out the duct tape and masked it off. Thus far, no more codes thrown and I don't seem to be suffering any extraneous impact. Will watch and see, I guess. . .
