Go BOV Yourself!!!

This thread is here for us to post links about BOV's.

This stupid mod is asked about all too much. So in turn, I decided to make one single link that we can post on threads, than just walk away from them.
I'm not trying to be ignorant. It just seems as though nobody knows how to research before they ask.

So have at it guys and gals. Start posting the millions of links.

PS. If anybody posts that sticky from 2003, I'm gonna smack the stupid out of them;)

:D

I actualy wish that the bov's didnt ef stuff up. i really miss the pshhhh sound! even tho putting the stock valve on didnt fix anything.

BLAZE2099 11-13-2013 10:47 PM

Yes it did

thekamikaze kid 11-13-2013 10:53 PM

it only fixed the noise problem that was the "wastegate flutter" (needs a new mechanic) ok so i havent read all the million posts about bov's as posted in the links. has anyone running any bov's really had mechanical problems not shown by a computer? I think maybe the fact that the bov's throw off the computer may be the reason that they seem to leak? is this possible? or is it a mechanical fact? (braces for impact)

Changing a closed loop boost system to an open loop boost system is creating a problem...So, installing a BOV means you're creating a problem. It can't be tuned for...

i agree with u fully but has anyone had a problem with the bov that was positivly diagnosed as a bov leak issue. that wasnt by a computer? my car ran pretty well with the bov for quiet a while. i recently put a stocker on and didnt notice a difference. could it just be the fact that the computer just doesnt get whats goin on w/o the recirculation?

BLAZE2099 11-14-2013 06:00 AM

Read the links posted.
Riot acts has a ton of info about anything and everything tied to blow off valves.

Look at the Forge's... The v1 is the chink sound and the v2 is the whoosh sound.
