gear grinding problem

When i am going from 3rd-4th or 4th-5th i get some grinding once and a while unless i really ease it into gear. This can't be a normal effect if i have the clutch all the way in and am not miss entering it. Any suggestions?

How many miles are on your car?

I have heard of many people having that problem and the general consensus is to change to Redline synthetic oil in your transmission. That fixes the problem a lot of the time.

mine was doing it bad on the 4-5 shift...then i changed gear lube to BG synthetic. about the same as redline, but i got it free through our BG dealer at work.....it helped a lot, still some on occasion. and i grind the 2-3 shift, at least when cosmo and kobi are in the car.......oops

Thanks, I think i'm going to make the change, but should a problem like that really come up so often. Could it be a design problem or something.

P.S. I only have 5,000 miles on my car
