Gasket fitment issue?

These grimmspeed gaskets are supposed to fit any model pipe, but the inner "lip" doesn't quite match up. Is this going to be an issue come install time? It's an Invidia downpipe.

Have you tried www.rallysportdirect.com? You should be able to just get a stock replacement gasket.

That's where I got this gasket, and was told it will mate up to any downpipe they sold. The holes line up perfect. I can get the stock ones from the dealer, but these are so much thicker, I was hoping someone may have come across this issue and had it work out for the best.

You really don't need special gaskets post turbo, just ones that work. OEM would have been just fine.

The only thing you can do is try to exchange it for a new one from RSD to see if another will fit better.

Ok apparently it's a crush-ring and is supposed to outline the perimeter of the opening. And not a lip. Sometimes, I worry too much!
