Question Cylinder 3 misfire. and a rough idle.

i have a 2006 wrx tr. check engine light brought up a code saying cylinder 3 misfire. i got new plugs, and switched coilpacks and it continues to give me a cylinder 3 misfire code. weve also done a compression test on cylinder 1 and 3. it was were it shuld be. ive noticed at idle itll sit about 900, but when i giv it gas and rev it up a bit then let it fall back down. the tack falls to 0-100 rpm, and slowly comes back to 900rpm, or kills. how do i solve these problem?

do you have a lightened flywheel...and did you check the gaps on your plugs...you might also have a failing fuel injector

^ In addition to Matt's response, Who knows... might be something as simple as cleaning the MAF.... or a coilpack takin a dump.

Ive checked all those things. got new plugs. which are iridiums so non gapable, and also swapped the coilpacks and i still continue to get the misfire code on cylinder 3.

ok. think we may hav figured it out. the ruf idle is explained. i recently disconected my battery todo wrk on her. and i guess the car had to relearn some tuning ### it dnt do it anymore,,, and my misfire codes appear tobe becuz of faulty injector wiring.

I figured it was a fuel injector related issue of some kind
