crankshaft pulley wobble

the other day i noticed that my crankshaft pulley wobbles when the engine is running. it wasnt just the pulley being loose ### the nut in the middle moved with it. i thought that shouldnt move? is it a problem that it does?

Th nut will move because it is attached to the crankshaft which moves.

Yeah it definitely shouldn't wobble at all....

Is it the stock pulley or aftermarket? If it's aftermarket did the bolt go in dead straight when you put it on?

It's probably just your imagination. Every subaru I've seen looks like the pulley wobbles.

ok so i tried to take a video of it today but my camera phone wasnt cutting it. i tried revving it to see what would happen and it smoothed out at higher rpms. does that sound normal?

Did you try to tighten the bolt?
