Crank/ no start after rebuild, security light on

Hey guys me again, i have finally finished my rebuild after about 4 months and after checking, double checking, and triple checking everything i decided to try and start the old suby up, unfortunatly all it did was crank. The odd thing to me is that when i attached the battery and opened the drivers door the alarm went off and now the security light continues to flash. i have been reading up on the valet and keyless entry guide lines but i was curious if this has happened to anyone else. Im going to try and diag it tonight but i figured any lead in the right direction might save me some time.

Well, first things first. Stop the security light from flashing.

thank you for the post, i read through it and managed to get the light to turn off by programming it. However i found out the reason it wont start is because it cant get a cam signal, due to the small dent on the front face of the sensor that occured during storage...(my fault completely). SO, ordered a new one and hoping to have it by the weekend and have a problem free start up.

okay so i got the security light off, checked fuel, spark, and compression and everything is fine except i have no cranking vacuum. I cannot figure out why, i checked all vacuum hoses on the intake and only found one not hooked up coming from the (tumbler valve?) on the rear of the engine opposite side of the turbo. but reguardless of this hose not being hooked up, at the brake booster inlet i have 0 vacuum. can anyone help or give me some insight on how to continue my diagnosis. thank you
