coolant blow up

i have a puddle of antifreeze/coolant that appears to be coming from in front of the turbo (when looking down on the engine)

Does anyone know why coolant would have sprayed everywhere, is there a hose or something back there going from the turbo to the radiator?????

I put a tbe on a few months ago...I don't think this should have anything to do with it, but I guess it could?????

it is an 02?

thanks

UPDATE: I pull in my driveway last night and white smoke starts to pour out of my hood scoop.
I opened the hood and smell the sweet smell of coolant, and it is everywhere. It mostly seems to be concentrated in front of the intercooler and down behind the metal coolant cap (right in front of the turbo). Does anyone have insight into what could have sprayed fluid everywhere? Please tell me there is a hose that most likely busted and it will cost 1.25.

Thanks for your help

there are going to be two coolant hoses back there by the turbo one coming off the bottom of the head and one going to the top tank follow those two hoses they are only held on by those weak compression clamps from the factory or maybe a hose has a leak, just follow it with your hand or look really close

Yah what VD said, the clamps are weak and they leak fairly easy. I had a leak in my return line where it met the turbo. Just follow them and I'm sure you'll find it.

what do you mean by "Accelerator pulley" what can also be happening is when your engine is up on temp you two hoses that are going to your turbo can and will expand so maybe those clamps are not holding the hose on tight, another way you can do it is by pressurizing the coolant system then you might be able to find your leak just trying to give ya some ideas.

Start it up. Most likely it's one of those hoses previously mentioned. If by accelerator pulley, you are talking about the throttle body, YES there are coolant lines going there, check those out. They are under the TB. Good luck. If you need help, send me a good picture of the area where you believe the leak is coming from.

check the coolant hose where it enters the block/head. There's one practically right underneath the turbo. You may have to drain and move the coolant reservoir out of the way to get a good look.
