Complete power Loss

In my car if I take a right turn, then gun it at about 4,900 rpm's my car will just completely stop. Like I am getting no gas at all. I took it to the dealer, and all they said was "Put some Heet in the gas tank." Does anyone else have a similar problem?

My guess is that you are hitting your fuel shut off. What is 'heet'?

I just had a new computer put into my computer, but It did this before I even got the new computer, so I know it isnt that. And it only does it when I take a right hand turn and give it a substantial amount of gas. Heet is a solution similar to octane boost that gets rid of any excess water in your gas tank. I always run 91 octane gas.

Heet dries out the gas. Basically they pawned it off on bad gas. Typical dealership answer. Kinda like my detonation wasnt realy detonaion, it was the tumbler butterfly valves. Kiss my ass SOA representative...

Check your injectors and spark plugs.

Do you have an aftermarket BOV?

so does the car completly die? electrical and mechanical? or does it just feel like it stalls out and you have to start the motor again?

if the whole the dies compltly then your probably grounding out when you turn the wheel. get under the car and check your rack and steering assembly for any obstructions.

if its just stalling out then its probably a fuel pickup problem. do you notice a nasty smell? is it hard to start once it dies?

unless its a grounding issue it sounds unlikly that it would be anything else electrical. the fact that it only happens when you turn a certain direction makes me think your pinching something or grounding something out.

It doesnt die all the way, the RPM's just drop to Idle, and wont raise at all for like 2 seconds. It seems like it HAS to have something to do with fuel or something. it just doesnt make sense why it would only happen when I turn right. And about the dealership. I had a horrible time with them. The guy didnt beleive me when I first told him bout the problem. He insisted on reving my car to 7,500 rpms for 10 seconds showing me the rev limiter which I knew exhisted.

Maybe you pinch a fuel line only when you make a right turn?!?......this boggles my mind...

That sounds like fuel cut... Does it do it when the tank is full or just near 1/4 or lower.
This is a common occurence if you are turning left, but not right... The fuel pump loses pressure due to the fuel in the tank sloshing around... and you get no fuel. But this is on a left hand turn... I think i remember Manics or Eighth 08 having this problem...

I had a weird problem like that in my Eclipse! Except when I took a right turn I would get a huge boost spike and would have to get off the gas before I broke something. Never did figure it out before I got rid of the car.
