code p0244 on 18g argggg!!!

2006 tr deadbolt td06-18g all supporting mods, cobb ap, catless turbo back, water sprayer. Well just got into my car after the break in and I was running 18.3 psi of boost on two consecutive runs, 3rd gear, 60mph-80mph or so, no problem 3rd run i give it a 5 second spray and wot 60-80 and I feel like i hit a brick wall, check engine light comes on and I about pee my pants. The temprature is about 65 degrees and im not to high above sea level. I know this error code deals with boost creep etc, but can my water sprayer really be so effective to push my car over the limit that the wastegate can hold and how bad could I have messed up my engine? Be nice to my noobness, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Spray? If you are talking about spraying (nitrous) I would say you need a protune for that my friend.

Sounds like your car pulled timing. Is this car tuned? If not it needs to be.

Sounds like fuel cut to me. You just leaned out at that amount of boost. I would try messing with your tuning. Definitely fuel cut though.

I doubt it's fuel cut if he has all of the supporting mods for that turbo, I'd say that he probably has too much fuel. When you hit your fuel cut, especially at the rpms and boost level that he's talking about, it would be like hitting a brick wall, not a little bit of hesitation and a cel.

P0244 - Wastegate control solenoid valve malfunction (high input)

My suggestion, get a better form of boost control.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

I have 560 injectors, after more investigation I'm only seing 18.6 psi. I hit 18.6 and hold it in third gear for a few seconds. Cobbs off the shelf 18g map is only set for 17.5 (+-.7 psi), and the map is pulling me back becuase its substained boost and its out of map parematers. Is it ok to run this amount of boost on 560 injectors? Can I just open my aP map up to allow for this, or what?

If it felt like you hit a brick wall, then it was definitely fuel cut...

No other than the fact that I have to feather the gas at wot throttle for just a sec in third gear so i don't substail the 18.4 psi

Yep, I've had that one. How long have you been on the 18g map? I did that 3x in the first week of stage 2 cobb. You may get past it.

Well, you weren't supposed to use the deadbolt 18g on that map really, you were supposed to use a Forced Performance turbo, they are a little different.
