Clutch Question?
First off, I have a 03 with 84k. I was driving today, completely normal and when I shifted I lost almost all pressure in the clutch. It only kicked out half way too. It still worked but would only engage when the clutch was pushed in almost 3/4 of the way. I called my dealer and they have no clue without checking it out. The reservoir is still full; and isn't leaking anything. And after a minute or two of driving the clutch pressure returned to almost normal. It continued to do this about 3 or 4 times today. I had a family friend who is a mechanic take a look at it and we bled it and it works and feels great. Some air was in there though. But it did feel just like it did yesterday. The mechanic also thought it could possibly be the seals on the master or slave cylinder have started to go bad, and possibly could have brought in some air. If I have to take it in I have to wait til next Tuesday. And I really don't want to have to bring it in if I don't have to cause the mechanic is extremely cheap. If anyone has any suggestions or any clue as to what they think it could be I would really appreciate it.
