chirping noise

I just bought an 02 rex friday, I just noticed now that when going from a stop in first and sometimes into second it emits a type of chirping when turning corners. It only makes this noise when at slow speeds also, what could this be? It also doesn't make the noise all the time, just periodically.

Just keep your foot slightly on the clutch and you should be fine. Its probably the transmission.

i'd have to hear it.. could be a number of things...

is the car new? or used?
