Cel p0430 and p1443 thrown yesterday.

So as the title says i was driving yesterday and i had to get on the gas to get on the highway as cars were coming and the car thru a CEL. My LPO at work has a scanner and had him pull the codes for me today. and they were the 0430 and 1443 which he cleared for me for now. any clue what they could both be and what i can do to check them,. i have done google searches and just get people taling about them and no way to check what it could be for sure. and the car is a 2002 wrx.:notgood:

There's a cel thread around here with good info. I'll search for it.

Did the reader not tell you what the codes were? I know mine does.

If it the one that is a sticky I looked over it and it just listed what the codes are. I was more looking for if anyone has had the codes before and what they tried thanks tho blaze.its not my reader I was just getting the codes when I got off work.what I did did online about them is the 430 is something with the cats and the 1443 is with the evap system, but others say it's the gas cap sometimes.

P0430 is usually a 02 sensor
P1443 is usually a bad evap vent valve or a clogged fuel vent hose.
