Let you know what?Take the frigg'n car to a mechanic/tuner.If you can't afford it then sell the car.You gotta pay to play with hotrods and if you don't know the first thing about fixing them yourself them yourself, your gonna need deep pockets. Not trying to be a donkey but you should have just bought a stock WRX and stuck with that.If you bought it modded you have just inherited someone elses problems. All these people responding give you advise and you don't take it/use it.?Why bother continuing to ask questions.....

Yes,the crank sensor has to do with timing.Considering you still had problems before the DTC/CEL showed up for the crank and cam sensors, I'm guessing you still have other issues going on.The easiest way to deal with this car without going to a mechanic is to purchase a Tactrix cable (if you have a laptop) and datalog the car.Romraider has a free logger you can use and see data in realtime along with logging. For some reason I see you buying alot of parts that end up possibly not solving your problems.Have you tried reseting the ECU after getting the codes? Both the crank and cam sensors are inductive magnetic pickups.I would have pulled them and cleaned them, then reset the ECU before buying new ones.

Yes i did reset my ecu, and I did take out the crank sensor and clean it. Code still comes back. Sprayed off the connectors as well.

just because the sensors through a CEL light does not mean it needs a new sensor. it probably means it's doing it's job. +1 on datalogging or like ive said before, and ill say it again, get a tune and consider it done.

It might be possible these DTC/CEL's have something to do with the newly installed timing belt.Maybe it's off a couple teeth.
