CEL on after removing and reinstalling stock intake

I was doing a little cleaning up/maintenance under the hood, and pulled off the (stock) intake to make some access a bit easier. In the interest of not damaging the Mass Airflow Sensor, I removed it from the intake, disconnected it from the harness, and set it on my console while I was tinkering around.

I put everything back together, MAF sensor on the correct way (facing the front), reconnected the ground on my battery, started the car, and after about 5 seconds the CEL came on.

I did the quick reset (disconnect negative, hold brake pedal, reconnect), same issue. No light initially, then comes on after a few seconds of idle.

I have not had the code pulled yet, planning on doing it this weekend if any info/suggestions don't cure the problem.

Any ideas?

Edit - Car runs fine, nothing seems noticeably different from before the CEL came on.

My guess is you didn't attach something right or maybe you accidentally did do something to the maf sensor D:

I suggest getting the code pulled first. And if you don't. Carefully take it apart and put it together again haha. Good luck!
