Castrol Syntec not lasting

I use Castrol Syntec on my car (MY03 WRX), and within 2500 the oil is pitch black....is there something wrong???

MODS to see if any of them causes the problem:

Helix Up-pipe
Bosal Down-pipe
Protorque HS TC
Greddy BOV

and everything else is pretty much stock....

any helpful answer will be thankful~

What driving conditions is the car subjected to? Are you in the desert or something?

my driving style is moderate.....only maybe on the highway i step on till redline but thats about it....well its been extremely hot and humid in NY lately so maybe that has something to do with it....

I used Pennzoil 5w-40 syn, no problems what so ever...changed oil every 2500-3000 miles. Changed to Mobil 1 5w-30 syn recently for cost reasons. With both oils...it came out the car the same way it went in. I drive my car often but never really hard. I would recommend either oil. I never had luck with Castrol in my Mustang, nor my Accord. Darkened quickly and didnt hold up well to my previous driving standards.

How's the TC working for you?? PM me with information as to its durability thus far and are you still enjoying it?
