At idle the car seems to vibrate a lot.....is this suppose to be like this? if its on Park (AT), the whole car vibrates enough so u can feel u body shaking. Anyone know what wrong with this or is it suppose to be like this? The car is pretty much STOCK
what is your idle rpm. should be 600-750rpm. if that is ok, i would look to see if a motor mount is geting bad, allowing the engine to touch the body. subarus have a slight problem with the trans mount getting weak, but its after some milage. how much vibration? does it cause a rattling noise in the dash, or is it just a slight vibration? soem is normal, due to the unusual firing aspects of a boxer engine. firing order is 1-3-4-2, and cyl 1&3 are the pass side, 2&4 are the drivers side. so, the engine fires bothe cyls on one bank, then the other bank. thats why the odd sound, and why it sounds like it has a miss. hope this helps.....

take it in and see, could be iac post gummed up....ive seen alot of subies like that in the past couple of months at work. that and trans mounts breakin.....
