what is your idle rpm. should be 600-750rpm. if that is ok, i would look to see if a motor mount is geting bad, allowing the engine to touch the body. subarus have a slight problem with the trans mount getting weak, but its after some milage. how much vibration? does it cause a rattling noise in the dash, or is it just a slight vibration? soem is normal, due to the unusual firing aspects of a boxer engine. firing order is 1-3-4-2, and cyl 1&3 are the pass side, 2&4 are the drivers side. so, the engine fires bothe cyls on one bank, then the other bank. thats why the odd sound, and why it sounds like it has a miss. hope this helps.....

Check the mounts!; I've seen to many mounts being the problem to say it would be anything else.

take it in...have it looked at before it becomes a major problem...ie, stalls all the time
