A/C goofy

Whats up fellas and gals. So i upgraded to a perrin lightweight crank pulley last winter(ish) and since then i have yet to use air conditioning. Now, its warm out and i turned it on the other day. The problem i am dealing with is everything feels off when a/c is ON. The gears feel tighter engaging and my normal pull outs at a red light, the clutch just feels a little different. More gas is needed for it, etc. just doesnt feel like my baby but When i turn a/c off, its normal again. Is this because the pulley is light and creates this problem or is my a/c pulley broken. Anybody else have this mod or have same problem?

I have a Perrin lightweight crank pulley too and when my A/C is on, I feel a noticeable decrease in power - actually, yeah, to the point where I think I have to give it a little more gas when accelerating from a complete stop. I would guess that everything is probably ok. I really only use my A/C several times a year - when I have other people in my car on a warm day or when I think it's uncomfortably hot (which doesn't happen a whole lot).

I knew something just felt a little off. Its nothing major but definitely noticeable. I was just hoping my a/c didnt break that coulda been an expensive fix
