Boost gauge help

So I have a boost gauge on my 03 wrx. It's been fully functional, I would enter boost around 2200k rpms. And progress up from there. All of a sudden today it's not entering boost until way after 3k and maxing out around 5 psi when I think I'm running 10-12. Is my gauge going out or is there an issue with my turbo? Any idea?

1) Do you have any type of data logging capabilities? Such as a tactrix cable or accessport? If so get a log of what the manifold pressure is looking like.

2) Does it feel like your are hitting 12? The difference between 5 and 12 psi is noticeable.

3) You could have a boost leak. If 1 and 2 don't help you, you can get a boost leak test done.

What boost guage is it? glowshift, prosport, aem, ect...?
the RIOT act likes this.
