Blown head gasket maybe
I have a 98 wrx with 120k on the clock. I recently had an apexi power fc installed and tuned, after a few weeks i noticed there a was a weird noise at high rpms, and the idle started running rough, and white smoke was going everywhere, turbo is boosting fine. I thought it might have been the turbo so i replaced it with another stock wrx turbo a second hand one with 15k on the clock. Now it's running rich, idle is still rough and the noise is still there at high rpms, turbo is boosting fine. A couple of days that i notiched that it the white smoke etc someone crashed into the front of me so I wonder if its making it run in limp mode or something, air bags didnt go off. CEL didnt come on. Anybody have any ideas what it could be.
Mods i have installed are:
3 inch turbo back exhaust catless down pipe
front mount intercooler
bov
apexi power fc
and i just installed an apexi turbo timer after i noticed the white smoke
Come on someone should have an idea what it is
