man this is exactly what happened to me, i bought my 05 wrx last saturday with 46k on it, thursday im driving to dallas about 30 min away almost there and i get a horrible knock, i pulled off on the access road to realize my engine died.. i couldnt get it startd and since i just bought it(from a official subaru dealer) my warranty hasnt gone threw in my name, still has 1 year left on stock and 2 yr extended i purchased.. so im waiting for them tomorrow to get a hold of the warranty company to tear it apart and realize whats wrong.. im upset ### they have had it for 3 days and still havent made any progress and since my warranty hasnt transfered yet i dont get a loaner car or rental that i purchased in my extended warranty.. i had it 6 days the timing seemed a lil off at idle but when i drove it, didnt miss a beat.. im new to wrx scene this is my first one and i really havent had any friends with them.. i just hope its quick and i can get my car back
