blown brakes?

well last night i was at a basketball game and i came out got in my car and got the end of the street and realised i wasnt stopping. so after i blew the stop sign i pulled over in a parking lot and looked under my car and saw that my rear passenger side tire and everything under there was cooovered in fluid. my E brake light wouldnt turn off when i put the Ebrake all the way down and my brake pedal was softer then my clutch and could be put to the floor with almost no effect until it kicked in my ABS which is how i got it down the road to the garage. im waiting to hear from my mechanic to see whats wrong but has this happenend to anyone before? my 03 wrx has 98k on it so this is the last thing i saw coming. so i dont know officialy whats wrong but it is some kind of leak? is this a weak point in the design or jsut a fluke?

Someone's trying to kill you.

Seriously though, have you modified the brakes recently? Hit anything on the road? Spirited driving on gravel? Sounds more like something you ran over may have hit the line and caused it to rupture.
