Even if it is the pump itself. Getting it flushed and refilled will sometimes cure the issues.

You are down the street from my brother in law in the cove.

PM me if you need him to assist you, he likes messing with cars.

Is replacing the pump a big ordeal or would it be something I could do. Also I just noticed my exhaust is making a putting noise every now and then. Any ideas of what that could be I don't have a check engine light.

I did mine in like two hours. Maybe three. Barely anything in the way. Pull the belt that drives it and see first. That will take minutes. Not being cocky, its really very easy.

your exhaust is making a putting noise every now and then???? like it sounds like your car wants to mabe stall perhaps?

what mods if any have you put on the car, or what aftermarket things did you buy the car with by chance??

ejs0806 is more helpful than not
maybe an exhaust leak see if you can have someone block off the exhaust while its running most of the way by the exit and you go undernieth the car and you will be able to here where its leaking from it will be obvious because all the air is looking for somewhere to go and will come out the next best way which would be where the leak is

Are you sure the silicon intercooler hose is on correctly and isn't creating a boost leak?

Is it when you are in gear and let off the gas? (like coasting up to a light).
