BCS and test mode

I've recently been having some trouble with my factory boost control solenoid. I was only hitting about 10 psi so i sprayed some brake cleaner in the BCS and it seemed to fix the problem for a little while. It seems to be back to only hitting 10 psi again. My question is....when the two green (test mode) connectors are connected under the dash should i be able to hear and feel the BCS clicking? The only reason i ask is because it doesn't when they are connected in test mode but if i run 2 wires directly off of the battery it will click like its supposed to. I'm sort of stumped.

Umm, those 2 connectors are LIMP MODE. Leave them disconnected unless you are flashing an openECU tune. Sounds like either the BCS is bad. The good news is now would be a good time to upgrade to a 3 port. Bad news is that if you go that route, you'll need a new tune.

If you do get a 3port get a Grimmspeed GrimmSpeed I got one and I love it. its just plug and play no cutting anything.... but you will need a tune.
