Battery and Brake failure showing on the display panel

The warnig lights on my display panel are showing the battery indicator and the brake failure indicator. Could this mean I need a new battery?

In my 02 Cougar, that happened, it was the alernator that went bad.

All those lights are on ?! Must be like Christmas lol jk I'd say alternator ... possibly jsut the belt?! (trying to look on the cheaper side)

Thanks dude, I'd like to take it there but I live in another country, ie Australia so I replaced the belt instead and all is good again.
