Bad Motor Mount?

What are some are some signs of a bad motor mount?
I have noticed a hard knock sound coming from in front of the drivers seat when i punch the throttle or grab the clutch hard at high rpm.
I have heard could be a motor mount or trans mount from a friend.
Any ideas?

If you can feel the motor rocking is a tell tale sign. Any chance getting under there and looking around? They take an hour to replace. Might also want to check the "dogbone" that is under your top mount to see if it's toast as well.

Knocking can mean a whole lot of things.

Put it up on jackstands and have a buddy get in the drivers seat and have a look around.

trans your shifter will usually shake around at idle pretty noticable... have someone crank the engine while your outside looking if it moves and shakes pretty bad theres another way to tell thats a bit simpler...

You're probably just experiencing the soft motor mounts and trans mount in the car. I replaced mine with SPT Group N mounts around 11k miles. Much better now.
