Thanks in advance,
I have a question that may be basic, but this is my first experience w/the AP. I'm a casual tuner, I do most of my own bolt-on mods, but this car came heavily modified. I got'er Jan. of this year.
I recently had issue where the starter died and I had the car towed to a local Subaru Dealer to fix. I thought it was only the starter as the car won't crank. When I turned the key over, the lights all came on but there was no click from the starter. Initially I got in the car and turned it over and the car sort of stumbled to start as if it wasn't getting fuel or air? This had happened two or three times in the last 2 weeks, but this particular day I decided to immediately turn the car off and attempt to get a stronger start of it and the car wouldn't crank.
I had it towed to Subaru and they called and said it wasn't the starter, but the wiring harness and it had multiple shorts in it and that this was the issue. They replaced the engine harness and the crankshaft position sensors, one on each side AND the starter. They didn't mention the starter until I went to pick it up. They said the car was throwing P2020 error code.
Finally my question is this, my car was tuned w/the AP by Innovative in Buffalo. Since getting the car back it's throwing the P2020 error code more than before. Prior to the starter engine harness replacement, I got that code once every 6 months but it would go away after a day or two. Now I get it about every 150 miles, normally it happens when on a hill and I'm on the bite point giving it gas to take off. Do I need to reapply the tune based on the changes made?
