Is this an alignment issue?

hey, I need some input on this, Last night I was out takin advantage of the snow in a parking lot driftin around a bit, however there was a pretty hard patch of ice that had accumulated in certain parts of the lot. during one or two of my slides i went through the ice, which def. hit harder than the soft snow. Afterwards the wrx was runnin fine, no issues at all. This morning tho, the roads are all cleared up and ready to go, and as soon as i hit 60 mph the steering wheel gets to wobbling pretty fiercely. Everything up till 60 seems fine, no shakes in the steering wheel; corner turn in at speed doesn't seem affected. So I'm wondering what the diagnosis is, can anyone confirm whether or not its due to the alignment of the wheels? If not, then could it be that I damaged some part of the suspension ?

sounds like you just need to clean off that ice or snow on your wheels and have them balanced. the shaking thing happened to me after i went romping through the mud. mud had dried on my wheels throwing off the balance which caused the car to shake at higher speeds. oh and definitely have your alignment checked.

Your tires are unbalanced probably due to having snow packed in them. Get the snow out and see if it fixes it.

Clean off the wheels, if that dosen't help at all, go get the wheels balanced. Sometimes rough driving can knock a weight off the wheel, it happened to me.
