Exclamation ABS TCS Failure HELP

Hey all. I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this one, I've been checking posts and can't find anything.

Out here in Calgary we've been having some pretty nasty weather, -24C to -29C (-11f to -20f roughly) combined with snow and sunshine so the roads are like glass. Perfect weather for the traction control and ABS to come in handy, especially with the "all season" tires these things come with.

Problem is, as soon as I need to make a relatively hard stop, the ABS and TCS trip out and shut down until I shut the car off and restart it. Kind of useless systems if they disable themselves as soon as you need them.

Anybody else have this happen? Anybody know what it could be?

Thanks in advance
