98 wrx. no power, clutch feels like its gone, no gears.

please help. i got a 98 wrx a few months ago, havent really driven it rnd to much. took it for a spin yesterday. only got dwn tha road an had to push it bak.

the clutch feels like its gone, starts up ok, but got no gears, no power.

would this have something to do wit tha bov, or a combination of a few things?

please help

Need more information.

Does it go into the gears? Does it move at all? What other mods?

Yeah need more info on mods. We (United States) didn't get the wrx til 2002 so if what your describing is a 98 wrx it should be a 98 heavily modded 2.5 rs??? Need more info.

I actually have a 97 wrx myself straight from Japan. I live in the Cayman Islands so we drive on the left here so no conversions needed.

i got sports exhaust system, standard pretty much, blow off valve.

dosent go into gear. feels like its got no gear. put ma foot dwn, revs go up but no movement

sounds like a smoked clutch

I am thinking worst than a clutch, I think your gear(s)/Transmission are/is gone.

If you say it's not going into gear like the gearshift physically will not go into 1st or any gear then I don't think that would be your clutch.

If the gearshift can go into each gear and when you try to take off it does nothing but revs then that would be your clutch.
