2010 odd scuffing sound after reverse into first & turning

Sorry for the long description but I'm not sure how best to describe my issue. Wasn't able to find anything from searching the forums, but may not have used the wrong keywords.

My issue: After I back out of my driveway (or a parking spot) to the right, I then put it in first, turn the wheel to the left and proceed forward. After 15-30 feet, I'll hear a brief scuffing/scraping type sound from under the car. Only half a second or so and then doesn't reoccur. Is this common?

I have a 2010 WRX 5-door with about 2,000 miles. I think the sound has been there from the start, but maybe not until I'd put 500-1,000 miles on the car. Taking it to the dealer soon for its first oil change, and will ask them about it, but wanted to see if anyone else had input.

Its probably the drive train loading up and either a tire or LSD slipping. That said try to avoid by straightening the wheel prior to stopping while going backward and avoid cranking the wheel over prior to starting out. Mine seems to "bind" up a bit while turning sharply into the garage.

Did have the dealer check it out ("unable to reproduce") and the service tech thought it could be the brake calipers shifting forward? (I think that's what he said).

Anyhow, had a 2010 Forester as a loaner car the past couple of days (one of the techs backed another car into mine while it was at the shop), and the Forester made the exact same noise - a brief sound after I've backed out of my driveway and then proceeding forward. I'm not going to worry about it - either it's a normal noise or it'll end up being fixed via a recall...
