2008 wrx issue

heres the deal, driving down the road with the cruise control set at 55mph, AS SOON as my odometer hits exactly 30,000 miles my cruise control goes out and the light starts blinking, my check engine and traction control light come on....any ideas?

Your car is so smart ! It's reminding you that you need to take it in for its 30K mile service.

Is the car modded at all? You're creeping up on the end of the warranty and I'd get it to the dealer ASAP if you haven't modded it. The dealer will read why it's going into limp mode for you too. That's what those lights blinking mean. My '08 WRX didn't do anything like that when I rolled over 30K on it.

That's super weird. Keep us posted if anything else results from this. If the wheel sensor's not working it can explain why the CC light would blink, and that's also why the ASC wouldn't work either, as it's not sure if wheels are really spinning or not. Hopefully that's all it was. Although I believe your ABS light would be on too. ???

i hooked it up to my modis and like i said it didnt pull any codes but i had a hunch that it could be the wheel sensor and sure enough it was. I called the dealership and they gave me the run around saying that they are pretty sensitive but ill keep you guys posted thanks for the help!

wheel speed sensor, and because when one goes it 99.9% of the time sends a traction control and cruise control light

i had the same lights come on after my brother borrowed my car. i retrieved the code with my Dash Hawk. gas cap wasn't sealed. it looks serious with all the lights coming up, but it's probably just emissions BS
