03 Wrx display lights problem

So I recently purchased a 2003 WRX wagon, and realized i needed to change my brake fluid out(Due to it being dirty, not for any performance reasons). I Bled the system and filled it today, and while doing so spilled a little behind the Master Cylinder. I figured, no big deal right? Well i finished my work, buttoned her up, and decided to take her for a spin. All of a sudden i realized something odd, whenever I press the gas pedal, my Brake and Battery lights on my gauges display light up, very dimly if its lightly touching the gas, and not-quite as bright as they normally would if i'm flooring it... Anybody have any clue as to why this would be, and if it's either a serious problem, or at the very least fixable?

Thanks For checking this out guys!

Alternator, either it's bad or your belt is slipping. Try tightening the belt first to see it that helps. If not then take to an auto parts store and have them test the charging system.

Hey guys, so i let it sit over night, then checked out the alternator and my belts and they were fine. Took it for a drive around town and realized the lights were gone. Drove it again tonight and the lights stayed off. I'm leaning towards the explanation my European motorsports shop owner buddy had, which was that the fluid may have just bridge a connection between the alternator charging and the display lights control. Everything checks out fine now, weird.

Not sure how that would happen, but it is possible I suppose.
