Yeah it's weird. Well that kinda answer my question... Now I'm debating if I should leave a stright hose or not.. The factory set up it's that way for a reason though...

I wish everyone would consider that ffs. The entire MBC discussion is because people inherently think they understand their cars better than Subaru does.

i know... but i still got a problem...
with the factory set up, those damn spliters i get 10psi max with a stright hose (like all 04+ wrxs) i get the normal 14.5psi... its just weird factory set up should work like that

The factory boost control solenoid is kinda screwey, it's why most of us rip it out in favor of a tried and tested convention 3 port BCS.

That's what I was trying to recommend or just run a aftermarket 2 port that will allow him to just run the straight vacuum line. The 3 port does require a "tune" of some type.
