02 WRX problem with the turbo vacum hoses "T"

hey guys i got a 02 wrx stock only mod is cobb intake sf.
i noticed one of the turbo vacums was leaking bottom part of the "T" so i went and got a new vacum hose and intalled it but the car feels so damn slow. i can hear the turbo spool and the the boost gauge says .8mpa in first gear. well i completly ignored that there was this "restrictor thing " and went stright but i see that 06-07 dont have a restrictor, so i wana know if thats the problem or what could it be? . sorry sounds complicated hahaha thats the only way i can explain it! i hear turbo and see boost but the car dont pull hard at all!!!!

Where did you see that 06-07 doesn't have a restrictor pill? Because my 06 wrx tr and 06 wrx sti both had a pill. It doesn't now because I run a 3-port bcs and its not necessary at this point. I'd say re-install the pill and it'd fix your problem.

Just like the picture. I've never seen a restrictor in that line. But, then again. I've only owned 06 subies.

I think i know what you're talking about, but i've had a 3-port for awhile so i don't remember for sure. Its basically a "coupler" in that line. I dont think its suppose to be a restrictor though, and you said you're still getting the same boost, correct?

Yeah my car always had full boost at .8mpa = 11.5psi never to 1mpa.
If I disconect that hose it goes to 1mpa. I know it weird.you can hear boost spool but it's not pulling good.... Any advices?
Should I hit 1mpa in first , second, third.....? I'm stock

OK. So i finally found a pic of what i was talkin about! this damn spliter here is what i had! two of them! and i found out that others besides bugeyes just run a stright vacuum hose!
now if anyone can explain why , may be bugeyes owners.... without this spliters i can actualy get the normal boost, with them i get like 8psi only..... is it bad if i just leave the stright hose?

That's retarded looking. I'd get another 2 port bcs and run the straight vacuum line. OR even better, get a 3 port bcs and a protune. Unless you're OS tuning it already and can tune the 3 port in yourself.

I know it does look so retarded! But my concern is why did they do that?! I'm 100% it's factory! I just don't get it. With all that I ran half
of the boost with a stright vacum hose I get the stock 14.5 psi... I don't understand.

I have a 2002 WRX and that's how it is on mine from factory. Not sure why, but that's how it is. I did wonder if someone had changed it since i didn't get this car new. Anyways, it should not keep you from reaching more boost. you might have a leak in one of the tubes.
