Wassup all, this is my first post. But I have been checking out this site for a long time, and enjoying all the tips. Well i bought my '05 wrx wagon Black about a month ago.. I have a little over 2500 miles on and I was just wondering how you guys drive your wrx's (mine is stock) to get the most power (speed) out of it. IE: Shift points, RPM from standstill in races, etc etc etc. This is also my first "stick" I always drove sticks before but now that I have my own, if anyone knows any good racing/shifting tricks~ that would be great. ONE MORE THING ~~ i have heard people say to "Don't drop the clutch" I was wondering what exactly is "dropping the clutch" and why is it bad. Thanx for the tip in advance everyone~
Haha it is a bit of sacarsm. From the FAST AND THE FURIOUS! We all know that is the best car movie ever made because every thing they say in it is the truth.
O yeah, NOS will blow off the passanger floor board! I'm serious!

double clutching actually does help as long as you dont push the clutch in far enough to stop your turbo (you can hear the sensor clicking when your clutch pedal is about 30% pressed in)
especially just after launch when your engine wants to bog, give it a little double clutch action and watch your RPMs shoot up and let the clutch back out.
smell that? smells like victory... wait no that smell is my clutch. !Laugh!
