On one run at the sharp 180 I downshifted to first but it didn't work out well. I just stayed in second gear. Drove like shit though that day. The car is prepared to win at the big level, but the driver isn't

the course on that first vid looked really small and tight.
I too spun out in the last event I was in.
STX is WAY competitive down here, the same guy pretty much wins everytime in a bug eyed sedan, but he's got like $3k in suspension, with not many power mods, he's just really good.
a friend of mine in dallas ran in one that had two tracks side by side that were mirrored and it was a drag start, meaning you started nest to someone and ran next to them until the first turn at which piont you went opposite directions
but very cool vids

You really don't have to worry too much about breaking something doing AutoX. It's one of the safest forms of racing you can do.
