1st track day at Talladega

SRDEC (driver clinic) had a track day at the Talledega Gran Prix Raceway last Tuesday.. Normally I just drag race, but I'm looking into expanding my horizons so I signed up

This was a totally different type of driving, and I have to give props to the folks who can do this and win money! Anyway some pics and a short vid of a few laps.. I was having to take it relatively easy because I was on street tires and stock brakes

Needless to say the next day I ordered a F&R Brembo kit. Brake fade FTL.

Nice...I saw dega and was like

. Not the nascar dega, heh. Looked like a lot of fun and yeah. I'd take it easy to just feel it out. Not worth it if you can't drive it back home.

LOL.. yeah, not the super speedway, but just down the street. It was a lot of fun.. next time I go back, I'll be better equipped.
