used AP questions?

so i found this guy thats selling his AP here on the board and he says that its unmarried and that he couldnt use it for his ### he has a 02 and its for an 04, but Cobbs site says it will work for 2002 to 2004.

so should i not worry bout it this misnomer and get it or should i wait and get a brand new one? hes wanting 425 shipped on his also, if that helps.

if its a V1 then it is car specific. if its for an 04 and its unmarried, your good.

Garage
CobbTuning.com - Home Page

CobbTuning.com - 08 WRX AccessPORT

It's a V2 AP but it's specific to that year (and apparently is manual only now)

Took me all of 30 seconds to find that... sheesh.

If you have the DP and its installed you can go righ to stage 2. But if no DP then you have to run the stage 1 map.

If you have headers on the car also, you a little more than a what most consider stage 2. If would be a better idea to get a "pro-tune" by a tuner to maximize the headers you have on the car. But you should still be fine running the stage 2 map.
