Turbo

My friend has a 95 talon tsi and he wants to upgrade the turbo for it. he want the power of the Evo 20g turbo but wants the turbo to spool faster like the Evo 16g. So is there any good turbo in the middle of the 16g and 20g? he wants it to be fully spooled at around 3500rpms any ideas

Forced Performance 68HTA. Might be just what he wants.

Is the HTA really being used all that much ? There is a guy on here that has one in his wrx and his #'s were poo (as far as #'s go). Do a port and polish with a coating on a small 18g.... you can get the boost around the same as the evo3 -/+ 300-400 rpm

Yes a turbo is a turbo but it will perform 100% different on a Talon than a WRX. Common sense, flat four, inline 4. Look it up.

My TD06-20G spools at around 3300-3400 RPMS. Its not just about the turbo, but also the tune and the supporting mods of the car.

Interesting, the troll calling others troll. He gave you a solid answer. You joined a Subaru forum to ask about a Mitsubishi; how does that work?
