Dual tune? Not sure what you mean? Do you mean flex fuel?

You would need a stand alone ECU capable of using flex fuel sensors. It's a waste of money and it's not really intended for performance tuning.

Si drive would be a option also....I know that people have programmed their Si drive to hold 3 different maps. But, you'd need a STI for that option.

I have a feeling you didn't mean flex fuel (the ability to run E85 and regular gas on one map). Are you more talking about something capable of switching maps?

brfatal...i'm trying to make sense of what he is saying, but I think you're on the right track there.

He prob. means he wants to be able to switch back and forth...

Thats why I mentioned how the STIs have the Si drive holding 3 different maps. Its a cool feature to be able to switch on the fly without even having anything connected to the car. But, again....the new WRXs don't have that feature. But, still could switch maps with a OS or another ECU tuning option in Australia.

if you want to have two separate maps for different fuels you could have someone protune with two different fuels and have two different maps, you wont really be able to switch on the fly but all you gotta do is pull over and reflash. Or the other way would be to have someone tune with opensource and drag your laptop with you all the time and the tactrix cable so that you can reflash when you need to.
