Hey im going to FINALLY go for a tune next month and iv been thinking about going to precision tuning in Lake wood NJ. i live in Jersey around exit 26 on RT 80. is precision tuning a good bet to go to or does anyone suggest some one different? anyone know like what price range im looking at? i just got a perrin intake, perrin bov, perrin boost controler, tgv deletes(not Ported) aps cattless DP and hks catback.
you should def get a tune asap. there is another place in stamford that i would recommend, its called ICS performance..i would call and ask them if they do open source, i know i got a custom protune map for my accessport.
alright thanks! yeah its been about 8 months now iv been running with my setup and no tune.. weird today i was driving to work and two times in a row in 4th i would hit about 5 grand and my car would like have a complete loss of power for about 2 seconds then gain it back.. dunno hope it was just something random
i did some calling and some number crunching and i came up with an answer! its called "TheShopCT"in Norwalk C.T., alittle ways from me but i hear Junior is one of the best. plus the price was great! 350 thats what he said over the phone. i emailed them to double check. it would be nice to gather maybe.. possibly... hopefully... 40ish crank hp with my bolt on over stock on pump gas.. ill hope for the best.
i have heard of them, and junior does do good work.. i know someone who went there with stage 2 and a fuel pump and got @ 260hp atw..... it is a legitimate shop, good luck with the tune
theres a few Tuning shops here in Maryland that gave me some nice quotes and well established... DPStuning and Agile Automotive Performance dps says 350 and agile says 450 and they are equal to the time and expectations.....my car has a few grand in bolt ons and i put in around... you should definetly NOT drive that car hard you will definetly regret it
That's good man, I just saw this post, I was going to fill you in on Precision Tuning cause I went there, but sounds like you got a nice tune done. Good luck.
