Well heres the way i look at it i paid 20,190 for my TR new and the new Sti's were like around 29,000-32,000. Even with all these upgrades (PPG's are what? 6-8k installed?) ill be alittle it more then an sti but i should be faster and more relible then any stock sti on the road.

So yes ill be startign a PPG fund and a possible a rotaed mount gt40r but down the road a waays down the road lol.

Garage
The STi is more than a transmission upgrade. However, the MSRPs for 04-07 were only about 6k apart which is what the swap costs anyway unless you can handle doing tranny swap labor yourself.

04 STi 16G powered lagless fun

Well faster on the 1/4mile anyway... looking to get into the low 12's hopefully with this 18g and everything else will get to my goal.

W/o breaking the bank on a PPG gearset! but if need be, always an option.
