Mosc, why would you want greater than a 2 second 60 foot? or do you mean >2sec!!

I have a regular 16G (it was on the car when I bought it), not an E3-16G. I recommend that turbo a lot (to people with EJ20s). Keep in mind I have an EJ257 and you have an EJ255 but I would be looking at an 18G or 20G (TD05 though) to keep the fast spool but give more up top.

The TD05 18g was my second best bet, what size inj.'s would you recommend? i have the 255lph fuel pump and a bigger top mount already.

I went with modded stockers. Mine are not the same as yours but they came out to be 810cc which was plenty and pretty cheap. The original owner was running stock injectors, don't ask.

You want 650cc or bigger for the 18G. Don't neglect the intercooler as well! Even with my regular 16G, I'm intercooler limited (and my STi intercooler is much larger than yours). Save some bucks for a nice big TMIC. Perrin and APS come to mind.

In another few years when the wife lets me spend money again I'll be looking at a APS CAI, APS TMIC, TD05-18G 7cm, and a re-tune.

Love the torque of the 2.5s. Not a bad tune or run. As far as injectors go, I found this chart, even though Mosc is correct in the info he gave. WRX Fuel injector sizing guide STi Fuel injector sizing guide Lgt fuel injector sizing guide, JSC Speed

Yeah i may go with the mobbed inj.'s because i do at some point plan to go larger with turbo if my income becomes "larger" lol.... How much would you say you spent on the modded injectors, mosc? also i have a perrin top mount(not installed) so i can check that off.

Nice on the Perrin top mount. I'm envious. The cost in the injectors is not in the modification (hell, you could probably do it yourself if you had the balls... which I don't) but in the flow testing and matching. I also had the advantage of working with a tune shop which had their own "house set" so you'd buy their modded stockers and part of the cost would handing over your stock injectors. I think it was $250 with tax and everything. You might find it for less, I paid extra for not having my car down for very long.

Of course it was still down for like 3 weeks anyway but that's another story...

you also need a fuel pump and you probably want a 3-port BCS (although have them put this on, the car won't run well till it's tuned afterwards)

...aaand start your PPG gearset fund.
