Whats up scooby owners.....so i got my tax refund today and made the best decision i have ever made...ran down to good ol Cobb Tuning and picked up an AP
HOLY SH** what a difference..now i need Stage 2 hahaha. Probably going to wait until after i get the emissions done they do a sniff test in Utah unless someone knows a little trick to get around that
haha yeah, I remember feeling the same way when I flashed Stage 1 with my AP. Now I'm on the verge of Stage 2... tomorrow night... so close... can't wait... so excited... oooooooooooooooooh ooooh ooooh oooooooh almost!!!!!!!
i have a question, what all goes along with the stage 1? and about what was the over all cost ?
or is stage 1 only a cobb ap ?
and then if its the cobb ap only i was woundering it i should also pick up a new exhaust due to i have the 08 and they are saying if i change out my exhaust it will free up some HP b/c the pipe is only around 2 in. istead of 3 and some change??
yeah a catted would pass i just feel like spending twice the amount on a catted one haha.
Manshow you'll have to let me know how the butt dyno feels after going stage 2...if its half as bad ass as stage 1 i cant wait
for that you should be able to get the cobb ap and a TBE. A new uppipe is way worth it...you get rid of a cat and i believe the turbo will spook up faster correct me if im wrong guys. I dont know anything about the pully but im sure there is some info about them on the site. There is lots of good info here
loser, your car does not need a new up-pipe, the 07 doesn't have a cat in it, which is the main reason to swap it out. save your $$$ and just go TBE and the AP
u said the 07's tho mine is a 08.... i know it says i have a 07 but that is due to the site not updating so i was unable to say i have an 08... sorry for that. but is it the same on the 08's or do u know know ??
You can still replace the UP in the 06-08's. Would not hurt. No cats in ours but the aftermarket UP's still will help, just no #'s to back that up. I will be doing a replacement to my UP this summer as well as a new pulley. ( I think the diameter in an aftermarket one is a little less restrictive correct me if I'm wrong) .
