duh. i know not all intakes are cold air. but watever intake he has it wasnt designed to run with cobbs ots maps so he needs a tune to run healthy, plain and simple

i know that.. i just cant get it to my tuner for another 2 weeks or so so i just wanted to make sure it would be ok unitl then which aparently it is.... i cant wait for the tune !! oh and my css tmic that will never show sh*t!

you should be fine w/o a tune. I have been running stage 2 ots map with a tmic for almost a year now, and no problems. Like everyone else said you just wont see the full potential.

If the ID of the SPT intake is the same as stock, it wont change a thing, and of course as long as the MAF/MAS is in the same position, nothing has really changed except for what his intake looks like and maybe sounds like.
