SPT Package and Cobb AP

OK im a new person here, but i had just recently put the on spt package ( cat back, short ram intake, and heat sheild) But i have been reading a lot on these cobb ap and how much of a difference they make but people say that you cant use it when you have a aftermarket intake, so my question is that if there is anything that i can use that can tune my engine just like the cobb or can i use the cobb and not worry?

The cobb AP will work just fine. You can use their stage 1 map with your mods.

Exactly what Longshot said. Just go with a stage one map for now. Im running it with just a CBE on it also and the difference is/was very noticable.

+2 to the AP. The smoothness and extra power of the Stage 1 map is very nice and the Stage 2 map is even better.

I believe a drop in filter is the minimum requirement.

im not 150% sure here guys, correct me if i'm wrong, but the AP should work just fine with an intake, if anything it should work better, because an intake without the AP tune makes you run lean or something, but with the AP it should fix that right? so it wouldn't hurt you if u had the intake on there... Plus i heard that the short ram intakes don't lean your car out as much as the CAI...

Hey i just found a used cobb ap online in my area for $350 but it says for an 06 but when i went to cobb's official website where you purchase it shows that the purchase for the 06 is also the purchase for the 07 so would that work out fine or should i get a new one and not trust this one?

Yep, you should be fine with that one as long as the person who had it before you completely uninstalled it from their car - you sort of have to be a complete moron to screw that part up... anyway, you found a great deal, good job!

If the ID of one intake to the next to the next is the same as the stock one they arent changing anything but looks and maybe a different sound as the air enters the intake. I emailed Cobb when I bought my AP and asked if I could use their intake with Stage 1, they said yes. If you doubt it, then email/call them, they are helpful people there.
