Is the intake silencer delete elbow worth of buying?

ehh... yeah, you could do that if you had a little time on your hands and were pretty crafty and didn't mind the whole cutting/gluing thing. I opted to buy the GP Moto intake elbow because (1) I was lazy, (2) I didn't want to destroy my stock intake silencer just in case I ever wanted to put it back in, and (3) the elbow isn't terribly expensive and if I decide to go with another setup, it's not like the elbow loses too much of its original value - you could always try to sell it on ebay for 20-30 bucks or so. Just something to think about.

Or you can be really lazy like me and just not put any elbow back on.

I, as well, chose elbow elimination which is the easiest solution.

No.A 180° bend = restriction.I would go to Autozone and get a $15 velocity stack and cram it in the airbox inlet from the pasenger wheel well.Believe it or not it will help or there wouldn't be one incorperated in the stock air box and almost every single air intake design.Just rest the ECU if you do this.
