Safe to go Stage 2?

So I've just broken 1000 miles and I've got all the parts needed to go stage 2, but I just wanna make sure my engine is as ready to play as I am lol! I've never gone so long without ANY mods in my life and I really need my fix! Can I play coach can I play?!

Is 1000 miles enough of a break in on an engine to start modding and go full stage 2, or should I wait till say...3000...or 5000?

Basically, I already have an Invidia Catted DP, a Forge BPV, and an Injen CAI all waiting on install with a stage 2 e-tune if 1k is enough of a break in period. It just really sucks having parts you can look at all the time but can't install lol!

My opinion is to wait till after you change the oil for the first time.

Yeah I've gotten some others saying the same...I suppose I'll suffer and just keep staring at them all for another 4k at least. Anything more than that may cause withdrawals and convulsions though lol! Coming from a fully modded 350z to a stock WRX is torture!

What are you using to flash the Stage 2? If you already bought the COBB AP, why not go with a Stage I to satisfy?

My pro-tuned stage 2 is amazing (298/325). You have a lot to look forward to! I did do Cobb stage 1 at about 2k miles. That sure makes a big difference.

Still waiting to see you around town too man. We can't have two stage 2 wrx's in town lmao...it's showdown time. How you liking that gtworx setup? I'll have mine out again soon. Just been parked in my driveway waiting on a tune. Nice hp/tq gains btw. I'll post mine once pro-tuned.

1k and an oil change is what every credited source I could find said. And the only thing Subaru said when called was under 4k rpm till 1k mileage. Cars101.com has never let me down before so I'm good as far as I can see. Too late now anyways lol....
