To my knowledge there are no other sites that offer maps for the AP, since it is a Cobb product. For a better map you'll have to get a Protune.

+1 to that. You either use the OTS maps they have, or go and get your car tuned for what you have. The AP is not like opensource where people write maps and share them.

PDXTuning.com offers custom made AP maps. Basically, you tell them your car, mods, and your AP serial number (for security I think). It is my understanding that they operate a tuning shop and match your car (and mods) up with one they have protuned and use that map. IMO your better off calling then filling in the order online. It's $150 for the basic maps and you can add race fuel and SCCA maps for extra.

The AP serial number is probably so it locks it to that AP, kind of like when the AP gets married to the car and its VIN.

That's what I was thinking. They don't want you giving away or selling any other their maps I'm sure.

That sounds about right, of course honestly being a big company like that it does kind of make sense. Just sucks for the enthusiasts out there.

Also, as a side point...once the new map is loaded into your ECU, you can do a data log of your ECU and send it to pdxtuning and they will tweek the map for you so your car runs that much better. I believe it's free for them to tweek it as well.
